Celebrate Nature in Guelph

Wildlands League is sponsoring a free public swim with the City of Guelph at Victoria Road Recreation Centre on Sunday, January 25, 2026 from 3:15 – 4:45 in collaboration with Urban Park Guelph and The Arboretum.

This is a free family event with a free public swim, free temporary tattoos, sweets and nibbly bits! And more interactive activities in the lobby of the Victoria Road Rec Centre are planned to celebrate nature within Guelph with a special emphasis on the community park on the former reformatory lands and the Arboretum. Come learn more about what makes these places special.

Whether it’s to walk your dog, have a family picnic, fish or just spend time in nature away from the hustle and bustle of life, we want to make sure this community park will be there for always for Guelphites and part of our amazing natural heritage system in Guelph.

For more information on this event and to RSVP, please visit our Facebook event page, read our latest press release or email us at info@wildlandsleague.org.

To participate in the free swim, secure your spot by registering at recenroll.ca 23 hours in advance. Walk ins will also be accommodated. Pool holds 200 max.

You are also welcome to show up in lobby to see tables and materials without participating in free swim.
